The sunshine has been amazing, but it's also left everything incredibly dry. To help keep everyone safe, we've had to pause the use of charcoal barbecues and 🔥 fire pits until conditions improve.

Leave the Car Behind and cycle or walk to the Beach

One of our guests' favourite things about staying at Cambrose is how easy it is to get out and explore.

Portreath Beach is just over a mile away and can be reached directly from the campsite via the scenic Tolgus Trail – a safe and enjoyable route for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Both Portreath and Porthtowan beaches are:

🚗 Just 2 minutes by car

🚴 Around 10 minutes by bike

🚶 Approximately 20 minutes on foot

So whether you're carrying surfboards, buckets and spades or simply heading out for an evening sunset stroll, the beach is never far away.
