We are a family Campsite/Touring Park we welcome families and couples only.
Booking and Payment

Reservations: Bookings are personal and non-transferable. The person making the booking must be over 18 and present during the stay.

Payment & Cancellation: Full or balance payment is required by a specified date before arrival (e.g., 7 days). Visitors are advised to get their own insurance to cover financial losses.

Arrival/Departure Times: Arrivals from 2pm no later than 7pm. Guest must leave pitch by 11am on day of departure.
-
No driving onsite after 11pm
On-Site Behaviour and Rules

Noise & Disturbances: Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, with strict enforcement of minimal noise to ensure peace and tranquillity for all guests.

Conduct: Abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour, including any criminal activity or drug use, is not tolerated and can result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Fires & BBQs: Open fires, fireworks, and Chinese lanterns are prohibited. Barbecues and small off ground fire pits are permitted but must be raised off the grass and extinguished by 10pm.

Visitors: Due to limited parking we do not except visitors.

Supermarket/deliveries: Commercial supermarket deliveries are not permitted onto the site.
Safety and Site Management

Speed Limit: A strict speed limit of 5 mph, must be observed for the safety of all, especially children.

Vehicles: Vehicles must be insured and roadworthy. Commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles (quad bikes, e-scooters, etc.) are not permitted on site. Washing cars and charging electric vehicles from the pitch hook-up are prohibited.

Children & Pets: Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians and must be supervised at all times. Rules apply to pets regarding supervision, excessive barking, and waste disposal.
Pitch Allocation and Facilities

Pitches: Guests are responsible for keeping their pitch clean and tidy and using the provided refuse and recycling bins. Breathable groundsheets to be used on grass pitches. Emptying of chemical toilets at designated points.

Liability: We do not accept liability for loss or damage to guest property or personal injury.
Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
General Access and Supervision

Swim at Your Own Risk: The pool area does not have a lifeguard. All persons using the pool and surrounding area do so entirely at their own risk.

Adult Supervision: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) at all times, both on the poolside and in the water.

Supervision Ratios: One competent adult swimmer to two children.

Operating Hours: The pool facility can only be used during the specified opening hours, which are clearly displayed at the entrance. Use outside these hours is strictly prohibited.

Health and Fitness: Do not use the pool if you are feeling unwell, have an upset stomach (within the last two weeks), or have consumed alcohol or heavy meals.
Behaviour and Safety

No Running, Diving, or Jumping: Running on the wet poolside surfaces is strictly prohibited due to slip hazards. Diving, jumping, or "bombing" into the pool is also not allowed.

No Horseplay: Boisterous, rowdy, or disruptive behaviour is not accepted.

Proper Attire: Only recognised and clean swimwear is permitted in the pool. Cut-off jeans, normal clothing, or disposable nappies are not allowed; babies must wear tight-fitting swim nappy covers or specific swim nappies.

Prohibited Items:

Glassware: No glass bottles, cups, or china items are allowed in the pool area to prevent breakages and injuries.

Inflatables: Large inflatables, surfboards, and bodyboards are not permitted. Only approved swimming aids.

Food, Drink, and Smoking: Eating, drinking, smoking, vaping, or using e-cigarettes is not allowed within the pool area.

Pets: No animals/pets are allowed in the pool area.

Management Discretion and Liability

Right of Refusal: Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool facilities to anyone at any time, especially if rules are being breached.

Exclusion for Misuse: Anyone misusing the pool or facilities may be excluded from the area for the remainder of their stay without refund.

No Liability: The park owners are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings.
Dog Rules and Regulations
Booking and Restrictions

Prior Notification: All dogs must be declared at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in the booking being terminated.

Maximum per Pitch: A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are permitted per pitch.

Breed Restrictions: We do not allow any breeds of dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, including the American Bully XL. We reserve the right to refuse certain breeds at our discretion for the comfort and safety of all guests.

Assistance Dogs: Legitimate assistance dogs are welcome in all areas and are exempt from charges, provided owners present the relevant identification book or evidence.
On-Site Behaviour and Management

Supervision and Control: Dogs must be kept under the control and supervision of a responsible adult (over 18) at all times.

Leads Required: Dogs must be kept on a short lead (max 2 metres) at all times when outside the owner's unit, including on their own pitch, and are never allowed to roam free.

Designated Areas: Dogs are only to be exercised off the lead in the park's designated dog exercise area.

Prohibited Areas: Dogs (except assistance dogs) are not allowed in the following areas: the shop, shower/toilet blocks, launderette, swimming pool area, or children's play parks.

Noise and Nuisance: Owners must ensure their dogs do not cause a nuisance or excessive noise (e.g., prolonged barking) to other guests.

Waste Disposal: Dog owners must immediately clean up all dog waste/fouling and dispose of it correctly in the designated dog waste bins or general waste bins provided on the park. Failure to comply with this is an offence and may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.
Unattended Dogs

Not to be Left Alone: Dogs must not be left unattended on the pitch, in a tent, caravan, or vehicle for any length of time, to prevent distress to the animal and minimise disturbance to other guests.

Terms and Conditions Cambrose Camping and Touring
To ensure your stay at Cambrose Camping and Touring is enjoyable we politely ask our customers to adhere to the following terms.
We are a quiet family Campsite/Touring Park we welcome families and couples we are not suitable for large party groups and do not accept stag/hen parties.
Booking and Payment

Reservations: Bookings are personal and non-transferable. The person making the booking must be over 18 and present during the stay.

Payment & Cancellation: Full or balance payment is required by a specified date before arrival (e.g. 4 weeks). Visitors are advised to get their own insurance to cover financial losses.

Full Payment: If full payment is not made by the specified date the booking may be cancelled with no refunds given

Booking times- Please note we cannot accommodate same day bookings after 6pm.

Arrival/Departure Times: Check-in after 2pm and check-out 11am

Departure: You must leave on the day of departure entered when booking unless overwise agreed. Failure to do so will result in daily charges.
On-Site Behaviour and Rules

Drones: For the safety and privacy of our guests we do not allow drones or other motorised toys onsite

Fires & BBQs: Open fires, fireworks, and Chinese lanterns are prohibited. Barbecues and small off ground fire pits are permitted but must be raised off the grass and extinguished by 10pm, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your party and other guests when lighting a BBQ.

Fire: Fire regulations will be strictly enforced

Visitors: Unfortunately we cannot accommodate visitors for insurance purposes.

Supermarket/deliveries: Commercial supermarket deliveries are not permitted onto the site.

Complaints: If you have a complaint during your stay please make us aware so we can resolve it for you, unfortunately we cannot deal with any complaints after departure.
Safety and Site Management

Roads: All park roads are subject to Road Traffic Law. A strict speed limit, of max 5 mph, must be observed for the safety of all. No driving is permitted around the site between 11pm-6am

Vehicles: Vehicles must be insured and roadworthy. Commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles (quad bikes, e-scooters, etc.) are not permitted on site. Washing cars and charging electric vehicles from the pitch hook-up are prohibited.

Children & Pets: Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians and must be supervised at all times. Rules apply to pets regarding supervision, excessive barking, and waste disposal.

Incident: In the circumstance where a customers vehicle/equipment has been involved in an incident/accident or is deemed unsafe for other guests Cambrose Camping and Touring reserves the right to close off the area or remove the item any damage, claims. Costs, demands, acts or omissions arising will result in reparation to Cambrose Camping and Touring

Stream: Please note there is a free flowing stream running alongside the site, guests must ensure the safety of themselves and children when staying on site.
Pitch Allocation and Facilities

Pitch allocation- Please note your pitch number before arrival, guests pitching on incorrect pitches will be asked to move. We will try our best to accommodate pitch requests however we cannot guarantee we will always be able to do so.

Pitches: Guests are responsible for keeping their pitch clean and tidy and using the provided refuse and recycling bins please do not use the bins for large items such as windbreaks, chairs, bodyboards, tents etc. Breathable groundsheets to be used on grass pitches. Emptying of chemical toilets at designated points.

Pitches: All vehicles, trailers and awnings must fit on your pitch as instructed by Cambrose Camping and Touring.

Liability: We do not accept liability for loss or damage to guest property or personal injury.
Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations

Swim at Your Own Risk: The pool area does not have a lifeguard. All persons using the pool and surrounding area do so entirely at their own risk. Non swimmers must not enter the pool.

Operating Hours: The pool facility can only be used during the specified opening hours, which are displayed on our website please check you are happy with this before booking. We have the right to shut the pool during its opening times for maintenance and repair. Use of the pool outside opening hours is strictly prohibited.
